Curran's Superior Meats, located at 417 Beach 129 Street, in the heart of the Belle Harbor shopping area, has a driving commitment to its customers. "Our customers expect nothing but the best," says owner Tom Murphy. "They should! They are very loyal, so we have to come through for them every time."

The shop is open on weekdays, except for Wednesday, from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesdays, the shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, from 8:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Curran's features a complete line of imported Irish products and Boar's Head cold cuts. Curbside service is available for those who call ahead, and if you need a recipe or cooking time, we can provide that as well, says Murphy. Curran's is known widely for its prime meats such as the famous Kansas City Steaks, which are made on the premises. There is fresh poultry available daily and fresh fish, as well. Homemade sausage in both pork and chicken is also made fresh daily. During the summer months, a favorite is the BBQ Special which features chopped meat, London broil, franks and rolls, all for a bit more than $30. |
