Rockaway Sports Association,NYCHA Enjoy Trip To Las Vegas

The RSA and the NYCHA Lacrosse team traveled from Penn Station in Manhattan to Las Vegas via Amtrak. The New York City Housing Authority Lacrosse team won two games and lost twice in a tournament against different organizations from Las Vegas. The Rockaway Sports Association would like to thank NYCHA for helping to fund the 12 day trip. The New York City Housing Authority Lacrosse team and the Rockaway Sports Association displayed a positive attitude and enjoyed a good time at the recently completed, third-annual New York City vs. Las Vegas Friendship Games. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman (middle) greeted the team from Rockaway at City Hall. The lacrosse team went on a three day journey via Amtrak across the United States to compete in the tournament.
