Marie E. Connor
Marie E. Connor, a St. Petersburg, Florida resident formerly of Brooklyn and Rockaway, died July 5 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was 66.
Connor was born in Brooklyn on October 27, 1940. She moved to Rockaway, where she remained until 1980, when she relocated to St. Petersburg. Connor was a retired computer programmer for Wachovia Bank. She was also a member of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle and enjoyed playing bingo.
"She will be in our hearts forever," said her daughter, Jeanmarie Supple.
Connor was preceded in death by her son Christopher.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bernard; sons Bernard Jr. and Richard; daughters, Jeanmarie Supple of Rockaway Beach, Dorothy Uhlman and Patricia Arcadi; grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Philip, Megan and Kristine; brothers, Thomas, Richard and Howard; sister, Eileen Pullis and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle.
Connor's remains will be cremated.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
