Jean Brabham of Rockaway died June 21. She was 51.

Brabham was born in Brooklyn. She was a nurses aide at St. Albans Veterans Hospital.

Brabham is survived by her mother, Shirley Merritt; sons, Laking and Norone Brabham; grandson, La'Keem Thomas; great-grandchildren, Daiquan and Amiya Thomas; brother, Rahim Brabham; sister-in-law, Felicia Brabham; nephews, Jamel Horton and Ramell Brabham; niece, Taneasha Young; great-nephew, Jamal Horton II; aunts, Jessie Brown and Gloria Holmes; great-aunt, Rosalie Foster; and godchildren, Michael Brown and Julie Edwards.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Chapel, with visitation and a service at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Disposition at Oxford Hills Crematory in Chester, New York.
