Rosca Joins Peninsula Hospital Staff
Peninsula Hospital Center, affiliate of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, welcomes Mihai Rosca, M.D., who will service the Rockaway and neighboring communities in his capacity as a vascular and endovascular surgeon.
Rosca graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in May 1994 and completed his residency in general surgery at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in June of 1999. Rosca then entered into his field of specialty and completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at SUNY Buffalo in June 2001, followed by extensive study in endovascular and interventional radiology at the Arizona Heart Institute from July 2001 to June 2002. He is board-certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery.
Rosca has been on staff at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System hospitals, and will now treat vascular conditions with open vascular and endovascular modalities at Peninsula Hospital Center. He has recently opened an office in the Department of Surgery at Peninsula Hospital Center and is available for consultations.
