Suspect In Bundles Shooting Found Murdered

By Howard Schwach

Police say that a man they were seeking in connection with the shooting homicide of aspiring rapper Stack Bundles at the Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway last week was found shot to death in a vacant Springfield Gardens house on Monday.

A memorial to aspiring rapper Rayquan Elliot, better known in the hip hop world as Stack Bundles, has grown daily in the lobby of 14-60 Beach Channel Drive. Elliot was shot and killed on June 11. This week, Charles White, another aspiring rapper, was found shot to death in a vacant Springfield Gardens home. Police say they were looking for White in connection with the Elliot shooting and believe the two shootings are connected. Photo by Peter Borriello While a spokesperson for the police department's Deputy Commissioner for Public Information declined to make a direct tie between the Tuesday murder of another aspiring rapper, Charles White, 20, and Bundles, whose real name was Rayquan Elliot, he did say that the connection is "under active investigation."

Charles White, 20, was killed execution style, sources say. He was found dead in a vacant home on a sofa with a pillow over his head, a leg wound and two bullet wounds in his ear.

White's murder is believed to be in retaliation for Elliot's murder, which took place in the lobby of 14-60 Beach Channel Drive early in the morning of June 11.

Police sources say that White traveled to Virginia the day Elliot was killed, but returned on June 18 with a friend.

That friend, identified by police sources as Kevin Brown, 27, reportedly left the home, which has been for sale for months, shortly before White was shot.

Police say there have been no arrests in either the Elliot or White murders.

Detectives from the Queens Homicide Squad are investigating both the shootings and any connection between the shootings, police sources told The Wave.
