Scholars'Students Inducted Into Honor Society
Sixty-five hardworking Scholars' Academy students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on Wednesday, May 30. The seventh and eighth grade students were honored for their scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship. In addition to achieving at least a 90 average, the inducted students were required to demonstrate exemplary conduct.
The students took a solemn oath to the principles of the National Junior Honor Society, which was followed by a candle-lighting ceremony. Scholars' Academy Principal, Brian O'Connell, presented all of the new members with a certificate, and each student signed the membership book, which solidified their commitment to citizenship and academic excellence.
