With the summer season come two annual problems - beach access and the lack of lifeguards and the onslaught of the shooting season. We are, unfortunately, again in that season. There have been four shootings on the peninsula in recent weeks, one of them, the most recent, ending in the death of a young man. More ... Summer's right around the corner and school students will soon be free for a bit over two months. Summer begins June 21 and the city schools begin their break June 28!
