A car service driver found himself with a gun pointed to his forehead on Tuesday afternoon after picking up a young, still-unidentified man at his Beach 35 Street base. Police say that the man got into the car service cab at 552 Beach 25 Street at about 1:35 p.m. on May 29 and asked to be driven to 420 Beach 40 Street, an address in the Edgemere Houses. When they got there, the police said, the passenger pulled the weapon and demanded all of the driver's cash. The man complied and the robber fled the cab into the housing complex. The driver then waited until he had driven back to his base to call police.
