By Howard Schwach
Police have busted an "admitted pervert" for molesting a young girl in Far Rockaway over the course of six months, authorities said on May 15.
Mario Garcia, 43, of 1335 Caffery Avenue in Far Rockaway is charged with sexually abusing an unidentified nine-year-old girl at least ten times between September of 2005 and March, a spokesperson for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown told The Wave.
He also admitted to touching her inappropriately twice earlier last year, the DA's spokesperson said.
Court papers show that Garcia touched the young girl in her "intimate parts" on numerous occasions.
Garcia was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on May 15, charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Garcia faces seven years in prison if convicted of the top counts of the indictment. His next court date is set for May 29.
