Time Warner Hits Digital Phone Milestone
Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey launched Digital Phone in 2004, and today, the company surpassed a milestone - 250,000 Digital Phone customers.
"We connected our 250,000th Digital Phone customer, and it could not have been done without our fiber rich infrastructure, our 30+ years experience in the telecommunications industry and the dedication of our 3,500 employees," stated Joe DiGeso, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Digital Phone and High Speed Data, Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey.
Digital Phone customers receive unlimited local, in-state and long distance calls within the 50 states including Puerto Rico and Canada all for one low monthly price starting at $29.95. Popular calling features such as Caller ID and Call Waiting included at no extra charge.
"Through our Triple Play package, Time Warner Cable customers have the convenience of receiving their cable television, high speed internet and phone service from one, reliable telecommunications provider. Value packaging our three products also equals extra savings for customers," stated Mr. DiGeso.
Digital Phone includes Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Waiting ID, Call Forwarding, Call Number Delivery Blocking, Cancel Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Caller ID Suppression, Three-Way Calling, Anonymous Call Reject, Speed Dialing, Directory Listing/Unpublished Listing and Blocking Option at no additional charge. Most customers can keep their current number and retain their current directory and phone book listings. Standard features also include e911, 611, 411 and 311. Operator assisted calls and directory assistance are $.75 per call. Voicemail is available for an additional $3.95 per month.
