Tea Time At FRHS After School Program

Far Rockaway High School hosted their first annual tea party on Saturday, March 24, with female students, parents and staff invited to the weekend event to honor Women's History month. The party, sponsored by the Community Mediation Services (CMS) after school program at the high school, was one of many activities in celebration of Women's History month this year. Guests were treated to poetry, games, raffles, homemade cucumber sandwiches and quiche, as well as a variety of teas. Students worked on crafts and decorated picture frames, which were later taken home with a picture commemorating the event. In addition, guests wore traditional fancy hats, with white gloves.
