Local Wins Berkeley College Scholarship

A Far Rockaway man is among four students who have been awarded Merit Scholarships by Berkeley College to attend the College's New York City campus located at 3 E. 43rd Street. The scholarships were awarded based upon academic achievement in high school. Anthony Pinnock of Far Rockaway, who attends Beach Channel High School will attend the school in September. "It is an honor to recognize the academic accomplishments of high school seniors by awarding scholarships to attend Berkeley College," said Dr. Glen Zeitzer, Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs for the New York campuses. "As a college that values diversity, fosters academic growth, and recognizes the potential of each student, Berkeley College looks forward to welcoming scholarship recipients to our campuses in the coming year." Pictured, Berkeley College has awarded Merit Scholarships to four high school students from Queens to attend the Midtown Campus.
