Latest RAA Exhibit Draws Big Crowds

The Rockaway Artists Alliance hosted maximum-capacity crowds this past Sunday at the opening reception of its latest exhibition, "Photography: Process and Print," which brought together 28 artists and a wide variety of photographic media to the sTudio 6 gallery of the Rockaway Center for the Arts (RoCA) at Ft. Tilden.

The exhibition will be on view through Sunday, April 1. All are invited to the gallery and for various events scheduled during its run.

The busy lineup for upcoming RAA exhibitions includes "The BIG Show," with all works a minimum of six feet high, and "Of Land and Sea." Both shows will begin on Saturday, April 21, with an opening reception scheduled for Sunday, April 29 from 1-3 p.m.

On Sunday, April 22 the alliance's sTudio 6, sTudio 7, Moonstage and grounds, as well as the Rockaway Theatre Company's Post Theatre will support the Rockaway Music and Arts Council's first Rockaway Literary Festival/Writer's Conference from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
