Irish Music Afternoon With Ed Deacy 3/9

Retired New York City police detective Ed Deacy, now a successful cabaret entertainer and actor, brings his extensive songbook of Irish ballads, lullabies and nostalgic tunes to the Queens Library for a celebration of the Emerald Isle the whole family can enjoy.

Sing along to "Danny Boy," "Galway Bay," "The Rose of Tralee" and other popular songs in honor of St. Patrick's Day on Friday, March 9 at the Seaside Library, 116-15 Rockaway Beach Boulevard in Rockaway Park, starting at 2 p.m.

Admission is free and the program is funded by the Queens Library.

Deacy, who worked for many years in Rockaway's 100 Police Precinct, is a singer, guitarist and actor.
