Jamaica Bay Task Force To Meet
The American Littoral Society and the Jamaica Bay EcoWatchers have announced that the Jamaica Bay Task Force will meet on Tuesday, February 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on Cross Bay Boulevard in Broad Channel.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be devoted to discussion of the October 2006 Comprehensive Jamaica Bay Report.
History and analyses will be given by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Jamaica Bay EcoWatchers, National Resources Defense Council, and Jamaica Bay Watershed Protection Plan Advisory Committee. An open discussion period will follow the meeting.
