Channel View Showcases Student Galleries

Colorful, creative displays were evident in every classroom at Channel View School for Research's 3rd Annual Gallery of Student Work, held on February 1.

"Gallery" is a bi-annual event where students showcase their work for family, friends, faculty and the community.

Some highlights of the event included Mr. Groff's 9th and 11th grade classes, who transformed their room into a Parisian café for poetry reading. Ms. Williams' chemistry class demonstrated experiments, while Ms. Patrylo's music class performed to sold-out crowds.

Ms. Dimino's and Ms. Mannion's sixth grade classes took a cue from the past and transformed their rooms into ancient Egyptian pyramids.

The evening was a huge success, according to Channel View staff, with several hundred people in attendance. The next CVSR student gallery will be held in June.
