Molloy Swimmers Clinch Fourth GCHSAA Crown

On Sunday February 4th at Eisenhower Park in Long Island, the Molloy High School Girls Varsity Swim Team captured its 4th straight GCHSAA Swim Championship. Coach Heather Green-Wresch, a Rockaway resident, stated that the win was a total team effort because as in the years before, the championship came from all the girls doing their best and placing high in the championship. Among the standouts from Rockaway were Kelly Werner in the 200 I.M. and the 100 Breast and Lauren Linares in the 200 Free and 500 Free. Morgan White had great times in the 200 and 500 Free, as did Emily Arikian in the 50 and 100 Free. Coach Heather stated that it was a great year for the girls and they are already looking toward next year.
