Learn Energy $marts At Gateway Home Fair 2/10

Learn how to keep warm and reduce energy bills this winter at the Energy $mart Home Fair, sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Friends of Gateway (FoG) and the National Park Service.

Held at Floyd Bennett Field's Ryan Visitor Center, the event will demonstrate the benefits of energy efficiency and its relationship to a clean environment.

Programs and exhibits relative to small home owners and residents will be highlighted.

The fair will also include guest speakers and workshops that are free and open to the public.

"This event will help homeowners learn how to reduce energy costs, but it will do it in the relaxed atmosphere of a local National Park.

This is going to be both fun and informative for all who attend," said Dave Avrin, a Gateway superintendent.

The Energy $mart Fair will be held on Saturday, February 10 starting at 10 a.m.
