Prawzinsky and Lowe Named PHC Employees Of Month
Peninsula Hospital Center and Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (PCECR) recently chose its first Employees of the Month for the New Year. This month's honorees were Phyllis Prawzinsky, a registered nurse who is assigned to the Hospital Center's Emergency Room and Sonia Lowe, a Certified Nurse's Aide who works in direct patient care at the PCECR.
Phyllis Prawzinsky is a registered nurse who has been working at Peninsula Hospital Center since 1991. She is assigned to the Emergency Room where her peers consider her a true professional. They regard her with the utmost respect because of her excellent skills, the respect she shows to all she comes in contact with and her dedication to her duties and her profession always goes above and beyond.
Nurse Prawzinsky goes the extra mile and is considered "exceptional.".
Her most glowing quality, according to those who work with her, is her unique ability to treat each and every resident of the Extended Care Facility as someone special. Courteous, dedicated and professional are just some of the words that were used to describe Lowe, who, like her fellow January Employee of the Month, "goes above and beyond" time again in the performance of her duties.
The Employee of the Month Program is designed to recognize employees who consistently exemplify all aspects of PRIDE (Professionalism, Respect, Initiative, Dedication and Empathy).
