CBB Claims Another Victim As Florida Woman Rolls Honda

PHOTO BYSUSANLOCKEPHOTO BYSUSANLOCKE Police say that Orange Park (Florida) resident Mary Ann Jahrnes was traveling southbound on Cross Bay Boulevard at East First Road at 2:30 a.m. on January 7 when she inexplicably rolled the 1997 Honda sedan she was driving, landing upturned against some trees and a street light. Eyewitnesses told The Wave that the 35-year-old woman was ejected from the car, but was not severely injured because the car struck the trees on the passenger side of the automobile, which was owned by Rockaway Point resident Kathleen Shea. Police say that the car was traveling southbound at "a high rate of speed" when the accident occurred. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. Jahrnes was reportedly treated and released from a local hospital. Just two weeks ago, a young police sergeant was killed in the same spot when his car hit a Department of Sanitation street Sweeper. Pictured, the totaled car sits in the garage of the 100 Precinct station house the day after the accident.
