JMB Nursing Services, PC Awarded Accreditation

JMB Nursing Services, PC of Far Rockaway has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization's national standards for health care quality and approval.

"We sought accreditation for our organization because we want to demonstrated our commitment to patient safety and quality care," says Julia Blair, administrator. "We view obtaining Joint Commission accreditation as another step toward achieving excellence."

"In becoming accredited, JMB Nursing Services, PC was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of home care services," says Maryanne Popovich, R.N., executive director, Home Care Accreditation Program, Joint Commission." Achieving accreditation demonstrates JMB Nursing Services, PC's commitment to providing high quality and safe care to its patients."

The award of accreditation is for a three-year period, ending in August of 2009.
