Peninsula Hospital Center Hosts Hatzolah For Cardiac Care Presentation

Michael Franklin, M.D., Director of Peninsula Hospital Center's Emergency Medicine Department, gave a presentation on Emergent Cardiac Care protocol to more than 40 members of the Hatzolah Ambulance Corps. at Cho-Sen Island in Lawrence this week.. The CME credit lecture given by Franklin was designed to facilitate a smooth transition from ambulance to emergency room and in preparation for Peninsula Hospital Center's planned cardiac catheterization laboratory in collaboration with its affiliate, North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health Services.
