'Heroes Of The Sky' At Floyd Bennett Field

A temporary exhibit, "Heroes of the Sky, Adventures in Early Flight," is currently on display at Floyd Bennett Field's Ryan Visitor Center.

The exhibit, produced by the Henry Ford Museum, chronicles the first 40 years of aviation by illuminating the inventors, daredevil fliers, explorers, record breakers and entrepreneurs who captured America's imagination.

The free exhibition, open daily to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., runs through August 16. Ranger guided tours for groups or individuals are also available by calling (718) 338-3799.
