PEGGY'S COVE
Arlene Cornell, Rockaway's noted watercolorist, has had her painting, "Peggy's Cove," accepted for the 110th Annual Open Exhibition of the Catherine Lorrillard Wolfe Art Club, one of the oldest women's art clubs.

The exhibition, which will take place at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan from October 5 to October 27, features works by women artists in oil, watercolor, pastel, graphics and sculpture. The works are juried and featured entries from around the world.

Cornell's recent paintings will be shown at the Rockaway Music and Arts Council's Arts and Crafts Festival in Riis Park on September 16 and September 17 of this year.
