NYJTL Free Tennis At BCHS

The New York Junior Tennis League will once run again run a free program for youth ages 6 to 18 at Beach Channel High School which started on April 24.

The NYJTL provides instruction on the sport of tennis to those who want to pick up a racket for the first time or refine their game. From Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 p.m, boys and girls are girls will be taught the game of tennis by instructors who will coordinate group drills and organize USA Team Tennis competitions.

Walk in registration at the site will start on opening day. The program, which will end on June 23, Is funded by the New York City Counil and State Assembly. For more information, call the New York Junior Tennis League at 718-786-7110, ext. 8157.
