Public School 47 Donates To Humane Society
The Magical, Miracle Roundtable of P.S. 47 in Broad Channel presented a check in the amount of $450 to the Humane Society of New York on Thursday, May 11. Ann Marie Karish, who represented the society, was honored to receive Roundtable money that will further the cause of animal care in New York City. The children were thrilled to meet "Esther," A nine-week-old kitten rescued by the Humane Society, and will soon be up for adoption.
