Rockaway Film Screening At Queens Museum

Two movies about the Rockaway area will be screened at the Queens Museum of Art's "Think Globally, Film Locally: A Festival Of Queens Filmmakers" over the weekend.

Mark Street, who directed the movie "Rockaway" about three teenage girls celebrating their last night of high school, will be shown on Saturday, May 20 from 2-4 p.m. It was also an official selection for the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.

Robert Sarnoff's "No Rooms Lobby," a short documentary about living on the fringe at a single room occupancy hotel in Rockaway, will be screened the same night from 5:30-6 p.m.
