Unsafe Subway Station Handrails

The handrails on the stairs leading down from the Beach 44 Street/Frank Avenue subway station are completely rusted due to the salty ocean air. The MTA has also neglected to paint the rails, which are constructed out of metal that is more corrosive than steel or copper. Photo by Kenneth Klinger
