After completing a history unit on Mexico, the third grade students of PS 47 celebrated Cinco de Mayo. Parents, students and staff joined teachers Mrs. Derr and Ms. Velazquez for the fiesta. Guests enjoyed Mexican cuisine, music and games. Pictured are Derr and Velazquez setting the tone for the Cinco de Mayo party.
