Veterans Information Day

A Veterans Information Day, coordinated by Vietnam Veterans of American, Queens Chapter 32, Inc. and POW-MIA, will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lost Battalion Hall, 93-29 Queens Boulevard (north side of Queens Boulevard, between 62nd Avenue and 62nd Drive, by Burger King), Rego Park, New York.

Any veterans and eligible dependents are invited to the informational meeting, which will include free Compensation and Pension Claims Assistance, VA health care information, current veterans benefit information, document retrieval, and employment opportunities from accredited counselors and service representatives.

The Vietnam Veterans of America is a non-profit National Veterans Service Organization, chartered by U.S. Congress, which serves veterans of all eras.

The event is also sponsored by NYC Councilmembers including Joseph Addabbo Jr.; members of the NYS Queens Assembly Delegation and NYS State Delegation; and NYS Legislative Grants by senators including Malcolm Smith.
