Click Here for More Information Erin On The Rox Congratulations to Margaret and John Laffler on the birth of their daughter Delaney Margaret on March 9, 2006, weighing 8lbs 12 oz. The proud family includes grandparents Theresa and Edward Lennon of Rockaway Point and Nancy Grisanti and Bob Laffler of Amherst, New York. On Tuesday May 20, Wendy's will be hosting the second event that benefits the Rockaway Relay for Life. From 6-8 p.m., 20% of all orders bought inside Wendy's will go directly to the Relay. The Rockaway Relay for Life will take place this year on June 10 at Beach Channel High School. On June 3, Saint Genevieve's will celebrate Father Jack's fifty years ordained in the priesthood at 5 o'clock mass with a reception to follow for adults only. The children's mass celebrating his anniversary will take place one week later on June 10 at 5 o'clock mass with a reception to follow. On Sunday, May 28, Tracy Rutter is putting together a special event "Kutting for a Kause" to benefit the charity Locks of Love and the Saint Baldrick's Foundation at the Irish Circle. Both organizations take donated hair and use it to make wigs for children with cancer. The day of the event girls can donate their hair to Locks of Love and guys can donate to Saint Baldrick's. If you don't want to donate you can still come and help support both causes. There will be live music from bands that include Whole in One, 3 AM, Dirty Mother Nation, Wine with Sue, SixthBoro, and Guten Flower. There will be raffles for prizes, a 50/50 drawing and free giveaways from sponsors Budweiser and Coors Light.
