St. Virgilius Boys Wrap Up Stellar Regular Season
By BCAC Coach Michael Henglein

The BCAC CYO St. Virgilius Bantam boys’ team is nearing the seasons end with a combined winning record of 13-2. Together the boys have shown great team work along with a new tough attitude this season that has been reflected in their winning record. The offense is led by front court play makers of Joe Klein, Kevin Cregan, Scott Appleman, Cory Diaz, and Tommy Mercer. Their blazing speed and ball handling skills are top notch.

The boys back court has shown tenacious defense as well as an array of low and high post offensive weapons. Chris Gigliello, Justin Esposito, Michael Henglein, Peter Willsen, Dominic Edison, Kevin O’Brien and Sean Abell have all been great rebounders and their physical game play has turned our team into a Rockaway powerhouse. I would like to personally thank coaches Dr. Vincent Esposito and Jeff Mercer and the game time assistance of Mrs. Anna O’Brien.
