Archer Presented Community Award
Two days before leaving RDRC, Curtis Archer – the former executive director of the organization – was surprised with being presented with the 101 Precinct Community Council’s Community Commitment Award in honor of his service to the Rockaway area for the last seven and a half years. The award was presented in front of a full house of community leaders at a special council meeting attended by Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly at the 101 Precinct House on January 25.
