Critical Care Awarded For Compassion

Members of Peninsula Hospital Center’s Critical Care Units were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for their exemplary compassion and empathy when dealing with the sensitive issues surrounding “The Gift of Life” organ donation program. Because of the work and personal commitment of these compassionate and caring hospital staff members, a families’ decision to leave a miraculous legacy - the “Gift of LIfe” -is made a little easier. “Death can bring Life and a great loss can become the Greatest Gift of all,” stated EunMi Kim, ADN Critical Care Units. “It is a very difficult decision but the compassion and care shown by our staff makes it easier for the families who are giving such an incredible gift.” Pictured, Robert V.
