Jamaica Bay Little League Registration Next Month

Baseball is around the corner and the Jamaica Bay Little League Executive Board is proud to announce the start of Little League registration.

This year, the league’s registration fees have remained the same and the scheduled date will be for Saturday, February 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For children ages 3-6 who would like to play tee ball, the cost is $40 per child. Children who will play baseball/softball ages 7-16 will be $100 for the first child, $75 for the second child, $50 for the third child and $225 maximum per family.

Registration will be conducted at the VFW Hall located at Shad Creek Road and Crossbay Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..

The league will once again require the participation of all the parents, who will give at least two hours of their time to help as volunteers. The goal is to help the league run smoothly such as keeping the field clean and getting it ready for opening day.

A $50 refundable deposit will be required to sign up at registration as long as each family performs their service.

Only checks or money orders will be accepted. And please make payable to the Jamaica Bay Little League” BCAC/Jamaica Bay Little League, P.O. Box 1, Broad Channel, N.Y. 11693.

Please bring two checks or money orders, one for the registration fee and one for the field maintenance deposit.

There will be a $25 non-refundable late fee assessed for those registering after February 4.
