for larger version       Patricia A. Daly Teacher’s Aide At S t. Rose Of Lima
Patricia A. Daly, a longtime resident of Rockaway, died January 29. Daly, a teacher’s aide at St. Rose of Lima School, was born in Maspeth. She was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denis S. Daly. She is survived by her daughter, Coleen Daly; sons, John Daly (Maureen) and Denis Jr. (Maureen); daughter, Maureen Iaboni (Albert); brother, John Martin (Rosemary); and granddaughter, Michaela Patricia Iaboni. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment was at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village.
Thomas F. Divilly Groundskeeper
Thomas F. Divilly, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 27. Divilly, a former groundskeeper for the New York City Department of Parks, was born in the Bronx. He also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956-1959. Divilly is survived by his sisters and brothers, Bridget Kelly (Thomas), James Divilly (Teresa), Kathy Lally (Joseph), Dolores O’Connor (Brian), Dorothy Divilly Jennings (Richard), and John Divilly (Eileen); 15 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Camillus Church. Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
