Meeks Gives State Of The Rockaways Address

“It will be accessible to any resident, any age,” Titus said. Also attending the meeting were State Senator Malcolm Smith, District Leader Robert Simmons, and Pastor Kevin Guinness. Kelli Singleton, of the Center for Medicare Services, discussed the new Medicare Part D plan.


A full house of Rockaway residents and community leaders attended U.S. Representative Meeks’ State of the Rockaways address last week. The Town Hall style meeting gave people to opportunity to ask questions of the Congressman. Questions and comments ranged from the conditions of Rockaway’s roads to the problems with over-development in the area.
