Boating Course Set For February 6

A Safe Boating Skills & Seamanship Course is being offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary starting on Monday, February 6 at the Ryan Visitor Center in Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Those who successfully complete the six-lesson course will receive a valid New York State Boating Safety Certificate, which is good for personal watercrafts/jet skis as well.

The course is taught by members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 11-11, and is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the Coast Guard.
