Pick-Your-Limit Parking On B. 116 St.
The new parking layout on Beach 116 Street has an unexpected feature that, despite all that signage, can be overlooked. Motorists now have the choice of a one-hour limit at the curbs or two-hours along both sides of the median. And that’s not all. Additional Muni-Meters are slated for the medians between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Newport Avenue, and some parking will be restored along the southwest side of the median near Kam Fung Chinese restaurant, according to the Chamber of Commerce.
