Kearney Inducts Eucharistic Ministers

Pictured: The newly-inducted Eucharistic Ministers with Sister Thomasine Stagnitta CSJ, Kearney’s principal, and Sister Rosemarie Figlia CSJ, Kearney’s campus minister. Seventeen Bishop Kearney High School seniors were recently commissioned as Eucharistic Ministers during a Mass attended by their parents and friends, as well as clergy, religious and lay representatives from the local parishes they represent.

The students will be able to distribute Communion at Kearney’s liturgical functions and in their own parishes, as well as to the homebound and those unable to attend Mass.

The students included: Selen a Adler, Francesca Battista, Danielle Behette, Mary Cullen, Deirdre Dresch, Rebecca Egler, Christina Frasca, Kerri Gallagher (of Belle Harbor), Dana Gearity, Rosanna Giarracca, Casey Lesser, Kelly Marshall, Stephanie O’Neil, Diana Palmieri, Kelly Anne Parker, Laura Runco and Meaghan Ulon.
