Hosts Community Advisory Committee

Peninsula Hospital Center's Community Advisory Council held its annual meeting at the Hospital Center on Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Daniel Mundy, Chairman, Thomas Mitchell, Vice Chair and Martin T. Fahy, Secretary, were all re-elected to serve one more term in office. The Council also welcomed a new member from Breezy Point, Tom Strumolo. The Council heard Robert. V. Levine, President and Chief Executive Officer, explain the newly-released Berger Commission's recommendations and, following a question and answer period, Jim Martinez, Administrative Director, Imaging Services, explained a new community service - Angio-Screening - the Hospital Center is planning to introduce to the community in 2007.
