Wayne Anthony Adams, a longtime Far Rockaway resident, died November 12.
Adams, a cook, was born on September 23, 1958 in Georgetown, Guyana. He served in the United States Navy.
Adams is survived by his siblings, Edmund (Lennie), Sherlock, Jocelyn (Elmin), Gordon, Douglas, Iris (Lurlene), Peter (Andres), Linden, Cheryl, Janice and Desarie; aunt, Una Hall; nieces, Sharon, Karla, Tarani, Donnet, Carol, Natasha, Abbiola, Alisha, Bonetta and Keisha; nephews, Eyon, Michael, Gregory, D'Angelo (Dee), Sha-King and Andrew Jr.; sisters-in-law, Shirley, Yevette, Debra, Shawn and Veronica Adams; Gloria and Winslow; the Adams, Bowen, Bunbary and Colliemore Families; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with a service at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Betheren Church Cemetery in Georgetown, Guyana.
Stanley F. Bailey

Stanley F. Bailey, a Rockaway resident for 11 years, died November 19.
Bailey, who worked in insurance, was born in Connecticut.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Kenney Bailey; daughter, Susanne Marie Bailey; and brother, Wallace.
Bailey is survived by his nephew, Wayne S. Bailey; and grand-niece, Ruth B. Laurens.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
Peter James Coen
Peter James Coen, a longtime Rockaway resident, died November 18.
Coen, an operating engineer, was born in County Sligo, Ireland. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #94.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Coen; and brother, Padraig.
Coen is survived by his mother, Kathleen (nee Kennedy) Dineen; sisters, Maureen Corry (John), Christina Leonard (Bob), Kitty Dreyer (Harold), Angela Larkin, Madeline Shah, Nell Dunderdale, Noreen Heavey (Vincent) and Dorothy Bettelley; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Camillus Church. Interment was at Sooey in County Sligo, Ireland.
Elaijah Junee Coleman
Elaijah Junee Coleman, an infant whose family is from Far Rockaway, died November 13.
Baby Elaijah Junee Coleman was born on October 15, 2006.
She survived by her parents, Nakisha Robinson and Eddie Coleman; sisters, Omariyah McKellor and Monay Coleman; brothers, Omar McKellor, Elijah Coleman and Eric Caldwell; grandparents, Julia Davis, Rita Barnes, George Woods, Steve Carpenter and Johnnie Davis; great-grandparents, Betty Robinson, Willie Robinson, Wanda Robinson and Alphonso Kinsler; great-great-grandmother, Ruth Jackson; great-great-great-grandmother, Lillie Boyd of Memphis, Tennessee; god brothers, Rashawn and Rashidi; special cousin, Alex McBride; special friends, Natasha and Terryann Smith; and many relatives and friends.

Eileen A. Hanauer
Eileen A. Hanauer, a Rockaway resident for 25 years, died November 20.
Hanauer, an insurance clerk who was retired from the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, was born in Manhattan. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rose of Lima Church.
Hanauer is survived by her children, Robert M. (Lynn), Anne Lods (George) and William E. (Karen); brother, John Boland; sister, Elizabeth Boland; and grandchildren, Robert W. and William T. Hanauer, and Brian and Jessica Lods.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Friday, November 24, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Virgilius Church. Interment will be held at Queen of All Saints in Central Islip, New York.
William S. Neverson
William S. Neverson, a Rockaway resident for 38 years coming from Brooklyn, died November 10.
Neverson, a bus driver, was born in Brooklyn. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Neverson is survived by his wife, Helen Allen Neverson; son, Carlton Neverson; daughters, Charice Neverson and Leslie Neverson-Drake; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A service was held at St. John's Baptist Church in Arverne. Interment was at Washington Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Sinai, New York.
Alan J. Plant
Alan J. Plant, a Floral Park resident and former Rockaway resident for 48 years who lived in Breezy Point and Arverne, died November 11. He was 62.
Plant, a printer, was born in Richmond Hill. He retired from his position as mailroom supervisor at Peninsula Hospital Center following kidney transplant surgery. Plant was a member of the American Irish Drum Corps and the Kiwanis Club, and was also an avid bowler.
Plant was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Gladys Dorbecker; and sister, Jeannie Parks.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue; brother, Victor Plant; 13 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Krauss Funeral Home Inc. in Franklin Square, with a service at the funeral home. Interment was at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn.
