St. Francis Students Offer 'Baskets Of Love'

The students of St. Francis de Sales School wanted the Amish Community to know that they were in their thoughts and prayers. In an effort to pass along the kindness that was shown to them after September 11, 2001 and November 12, 2001, the students assembled baskets filled with wishes of healing. The baskets contained prayers, shells, rocks with words painted on them, poems and pictures. Thanks to The Graybeards, these "Baskets of Love" were shipped to the families who recently suffered a great loss in the Amish Community. Pictured are members of the St. Francis Student Council with principal, Sister Patricia Chelius, and teachers Mrs. Greene, Mrs. Smith and Ms. Farragher.
