Twenty four Stella Maris High School seniors traveled to the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on October 4 to watch the Biblical production of "Ruth."
The students are in the Religious Studies Class "Women of Value" and were accompanied by their teacher, Sister Barbara Mackiewicz CSJ, to the theater, the largest faith-based theater in the United States. Father Frank Spacek, the Chaplain of Stella Maris and the Pastor of St. Brendan's Parish in Brooklyn, and his senior citizen scripture study class, also attended the play, about the famous woman of the Hebrew Scriptures, with the Stella students.
