Rockaway Ravens Program Heads to Football Playoffs

The Rockaway Ravens Football Program would like to invite the community to watch these successful players compete in the playoff this weekend.

The five teams who make up the Ravens organization have all qualified for the post-season and will start their drive to title glory.

The Junior Midgets will play this evening at 7 p.m. at Gershwin Field in Brooklyn against the Springfield Rifles. The winner of this game will have a first round playoff bye. If the Ravens lose, the Junior Midgets will play at home in the first round against the Harlem Crusaders at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Beach Channel High School.

The Junior Pee Wees will travel on the road for their playoff game against the Springfield Rifles at Roy Wilkins Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The Mighty Mites will host their first round playoff game against the Staten Island Hurricanes at Beach Channel High School. That game will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Brooklyn Falcons will be the host team against the Pee Wee Ravens on Sunday afternoon at Tilden High School in Brooklyn.

The undefeated Midgets will be resting this week with a bye and host a November 4th playoff game against the Springfield Rifles at Beach Channel High School. For more information, contact President Dexter Archibold at 646-247-0066 or visit the website at www.rockawayravens.com.
