100 Precinct Honors Sandee and Jate Doremus

The 100 Precinct honored Tuesday night its outgoing community council president Jate Doremus (second from right) and his wife, Sandee, the group's outgoing corresponding secretary at their monthly meeting at the Knights of Columbus. The couple stepped down after years of service to the council but said they plan on remaining active in the organization. "You can still call me," Sandee assured the audience. Captain Charles Neacy, the precinct's commanding officer (center), said Jate and Sandee are "great representatives" because "they really care about the community and the cops." Community Affairs officer Lou Brust stands at left and Crime Prevention officer Brian McCabe stands at right.
