New Faces,Contacts Introduced At 101 Precinct Meeting

Assistant District Attorneys Jeanine Diehl, Elizabeth Dank and Tom Brennan have been assigned by the Queens DA's Office to attend meetings and submit notes to District Attorney Richard Brown and follow up on concerns of the community. "It creates an access to the DA's office to know what the community's concerns are. You can reach us through them," said Senior Assistant District Attorney Frederica Jefferies, who introduced the three new liaisons.

Tail Herskowitz is the new case manager representing Safe Horizon at the 101 Precinct. Her job is to work with victims of domestic violence. She will be at the precinct on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can be reached by calling (718) 868-8351. In an emergency call 911 or to speak to a Safe Horizon counselor after business hours a 24-hour hotline is available at 1-800-621-HOPE. There is an issue with schools. When people leave to go to the schools, to go to synagogue, to go to church and we have to deal with that."
