'Pizza In The Hut'Party For Sukkos At West End

The children who attend the Hebrew School at West End Temple gathered together on October 4 to decorate the Succot for Sukkos, an annual holiday that celebrates the wandering of the Jewish people in the desert after the Exodus. The children made decorations, including strings with cranberries and paper bumblebees, drew colored pictures of harvest fruits and vegetables, and hung up their creations. The children then celebrated their hard work with a "Pizza in the Hut" party. Rabbi Marjorie Slome and Lori, who plays guitar at the temple, led the group in songs to celebrate the holiday. Pictured is the group after they decorated the Succot.
