SJEH Hosts Successful Blood Drive

At the St. John's Episcopal Hospital blood donor drive held on Thursday, August 3, more than 40 pints of blood were collected by the New York Blood Center. "We are very grateful to everyone who braved the heat to come out and donate blood," said John Boyle, PhD, Director of the Hospital's Laboratory Services and blood drive chairman. "Donating blood is literally the gift of life. Without the generous support of our donors, among the community and the staff, we would not have an adequate supply to treat those in need," he added.
